Twenty one years ago the art show was started with a small group of people (42) with sponsorship by

 Richard and Philip Walsh from Walsh's Village Pharmacy South Maroubra.

It has grown over the years with such wonderful and inspiring VIP guests such as The then Governor  of NSW Marie Bashair,The Premier of NSW Mr.Bob Carr,  Laurie Brereton MP for Kingsford Smith,Peter Garrett MP for Kingsford Smith. Helen Zerefos (singer) Little Pattie and several Mayor's of Randwick. Alan Jones and Chris Smith and Brian Whilshire from Radio 2GB.  Our wonderful judge for many years has been Tony Rafty . We are now happy to have join us the very talanted Kurt Kopple .

You do not have to be well know as an artist just have a love of painting in any medium, photography or sketching.

This is the biggest and only art show in the eastern suburbs that has no entry fee.

Last years exhibition saw over 700 painting hung.
